The California Department of Education recently named Rose City High School a 2025 Model Continuation High School. This is a big honor that shows how the school is helping students succeed in new and creative ways. The school is still adding to its Rose Inspiration series, which showcases the accomplishments of individual students and gives people in the community a chance to share their own stories of personal growth. In late March 2026, the campus will host the Octavia E. Butler Library Science Fiction Festival.
