After a unanimous vote by the board during its 100th anniversary year, Marshall Fundamental Secondary School is now officially known as Thurgood Marshall Secondary School. The school is currently hosting the 2026 PUSD ScienceFest, which showcases student creativity and its strong Advanced Placement program, which now offers 23 college-level courses. The successful "Summer SOAR" program has also become a permanent part of the school year. It offers specialized academic resilience courses and AP preparation to help students fill in learning gaps and make friends with other students.
