The California Department of Education gives this title to schools that have creative and useful educational programs. A lot of money has been spent recently to make the campus a better place to learn. More than $1.4 million has been spent on projects to modernize the school, such as moving classrooms around and making the building's systems use less energy. Students are also getting more Career Technical Education (CTE) options, like specialized classes in Business and Video Game Design.
