The Oakland School for the Arts is getting ready for its big all-school arts show, "Sanctuary," which will take place at the historic Fox Theater on April 2, 2026. The school's Jazz Bands and Combos will also play a high-energy show at Yoshi's in late April, showing off their students' skills in improvisation and modern styles. One of the most important things that has happened recently is that the Fashion Design Chair made a custom gown for a principal dancer at the San Francisco Ballet Gala.
