Being Updated
MetWest High School is still working on its own Big Picture Learning model, which lets students get real-world experience in a lot of different fields, like urban planning and veterinary medicine, through professional internships twice a week. The school recently got some extra money to make its Maker Space bigger. This will give students access to better tools for engineering and creative design projects. Students are also taking part in Exhibition Seasons, where they show a group of mentors and community members their individual learning goals and how well they did in their internships.
