The City of Oakland recently honored McClymonds High School's football team with a downtown rally and caravan after they won their latest state championship. This is a historic achievement for the school. The campus is getting a multi-million dollar upgrade that includes building a new grandstand, upgrading the track and field, and completely renovating the science labs and vocational shops. The school's Engineering Pathway continues to help students graduate and get into top colleges like Stanford and UCLA, in addition to its sports success.
