The City of Oakland recently honored McClymonds High School's football team with a downtown rally and caravan after they won their latest state championship. This is a historic achievement for the school. The campus is getting a multi-million dollar upgrade that includes building a new grandstand, upgrading the track and field, and completely renovating the science labs and vocational shops.
