New Village Girls Academy is celebrating 20 years of changing lives by giving students personalized learning plans and internship opportunities that get them ready for college and work. Teachers talk about how arts and mentorship programs are bringing more people together in the community to help young women explore their interests, and do well in school even though they come from difficult backgrounds.
Q1. Does the school have internships available?
Ans. Yes, students can get real-world experience by doing internships and community service projects.
Q2. Is there a dress code or uniform policy?
Ans. To keep the learning environment respectful and focused, the school has a dress code policy.
Q3. Can you take Advanced Placement (AP) classes?
Ans. Students who meet the requirements may be able to take advanced or college-preparatory courses.
Q4. Does the school help with mental health or wellness?
Ans. Yes, there are counseling and wellness resources that can help students with their social and emotional needs.
Q5. Are there chances for students to be leaders?
Ans. Students can join student committees, leadership programs, and advocacy groups.
