Long Beach, CA, is a beach town in LA County with about 450,000 people living there. People love it because it is so different and the waterfront is so lively. There are also a lot of great cultural places to visit and people are always doing things. The Long Beach Unified School District, which is known as one of the best big city school districts in California, is in charge of most of the early schooling here. There are also some private & charter schools nearby that can help. They want kids to start reading early and get into science, technology, engineering & math. We also think it is very important to teach in 2 languages.
