Lompoc High School recently made big improvements to its buildings, such as putting in professional-grade noise-reducing flooring and sound-absorbing wall systems in the music rooms to make lessons better. The campus is also getting a lot of help from a big project to modernize the stadium lights. Old lights are being replaced with factory-aimed LED lights to make the Lompoc Community Track & Field safer and more efficient. Additionally, the school is expanding its STEM programs by partnering with Vandenberg Space Force Base to give students hands-on engineering experience in the Team America Rocketry Challenge.
