The new Aquatic Center at Bassett Senior High School is now open. It has a 12-lane competitive swimming pool that meets the California Interscholastic Federation's standards for swimming and water polo. The campus is also getting a new natural infrastructure project that will turn it into a lively urban forest with bioswales and a network of trails around the stadium for students to use. The school is also adding more resources on site as part of the Community Schools Initiative to give students support for their physical, mental, and academic health all in one place.
