Huntington Beach High School was officially named a 2026 California Distinguished School, which is the highest honor a school can get in the state for its dedication to helping students do well and creating a positive campus culture. The school's famous Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) is still going strong. Recently, students from the Music, Media, and Entertainment Technology program performed at big community events.
