The theme for the start of the school year at Whitcomb Continuation High School is "Rise Above," which encourages students to face their problems and reach their full potential. The school is more dedicated than ever to getting students ready for college and careers by using AVID teaching methods in all of its classes. This adds to its reputation as a Model Continuation High School. There is also a new cell phone policy on campus that helps students by keeping classrooms free of distractions and promoting good mental health.
