University High School students are still doing well in school and in the arts. Recently, 33 members of the DECA chapter qualified for the 2026 State Competition. The school stays true to its unique commitment to music education by requiring all students to take four years of music theory and participate in specialized ensembles along with their college-prep classes. Also, the San Joaquin Valley Town Hall recently honored student accomplishments by giving a UHS student a prestigious scholarship for their academic and leadership potential.
