This year is a big deal for Sanger West High School because the nearby John F. Kennedy Middle School opened its doors, completing the Sanger Education Complex and making it easier for local families to move from one school to the next. On the sports side, the varsity boys' basketball team made history by winning the North Yosemite League (NYL) Championship and their first-round CIF Division IV playoff game. Senior Isaak Thammavong, who won the 2025 Student Entrepreneur of the Year award for his successful digital marketing agency, also talked about how the school is committed to preparing students for careers.
