The Independent Study program at Vista Alternative High School is still growing. It has a UC "a-g" approved curriculum that lets students do well in school while also doing things outside of school, like playing professional sports or doing the arts. The Edmentum online platform is new to the school. It lets students access course modules and personalized transcript analysis 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This makes sure that students can learn in a way that is flexible and based on mastery.
