American High School students played a big role in the district winning the 2024 Golden Bell Award. They were recognized for their leadership in the Climate Literacy and Environmental Action Network. The recently passed Measure M bond will help the campus by paying for big modernization projects like new buildings and improvements to facilities all over the high school. Also, American High seniors continue to do very well in school. This past fall, several of them were named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists for 2025.
