Elk Grove High School recently celebrated the end of big modernization projects on campus, such as putting in new energy-efficient systems and updating a number of classrooms. The school's Agriculture Department is still the best in the area. Recently, students won top honors at the sectional FFA leadership competitions in early 2026. The campus has also started a new dual enrollment partnership with Cosumnes River College. This lets students earn college credits that can be transferred to other colleges in high-demand fields like business and health sciences.
