See top schools in DelanoDelano High is one of the best public schools in the Delano Joint Union High School District. It teaches students in grades 9 through 12 everything they need to know. It is one of the best schools in the area and offers a lot of academic challenges, such as a 37% participation rate in Advanced Placement programs. The school can hold about 1,600 students, and there are about 21 students for every teacher. The campus has a diverse population, with 98% of students being minorities and 94% of students being economically disadvantaged. Delano High says that 65% of its students can read well and 26% can do math well. The school is in a town with a strong sense of community and a lot of history. The focus is on inclusion and success. In the end, it is one of the most well-known schools because it is dedicated to making sure that all of its students have the tools and help they need to make the transition to college and their future careers, and it is one of the best high schools in California.

The Department of Education has officially named Delano High School a 2026 California Distinguished School. This means that it is one of the best public schools in the state. The school also won the 2026 California Exemplary Arts Education Award for giving all students high-quality arts instruction and helping them do well in the creative arts. Also, the Delano High Colorguard recently won first place in their division at a big regional competition. The school is also getting ready to host its annual Spring Festival Choir Concert in the auditorium.
