About Delano High

Delano High is one of the best public schools in the Delano Joint Union High School District. It teaches students in grades 9 through 12 everything they need to know. It is one of the best schools in the area and offers a lot of academic challenges, such as a 37% participation rate in Advanced Placement programs. The school can hold about 1,600 students, and there are about 21 students for every teacher. The Department of Education has officially named Delano High School a 2026 California Distinguished School. This means that it is one of the best public schools in the state. The school also won the 2026 California Exemplary Arts Education Award for giving all students high-quality arts instruction and helping them do well in the creative arts. Also, the Delano High Colorguard recently won first place in their division at a big regional competition.
