Covina is a historic city in the San Gabriel Valley that is also a suburb. It has about 51,000 people living there. It has a small-town feel and the classic slogan "One Mile Square and All There." It is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and is great for families. There are three main public high schools in the city, as well as a number of well-known private schools.
