The Coalinga-Huron Unified School District runs Coalinga High School, which is a public school for grades 9 through 12. The boys' basketball team from Coalinga High School recently made it to the CIF State Division V championship game, which was a big deal in the school's sports history. The new All4Youth Wellness Center on campus is also helping students by offering mental health services and a safe place for all students to be. Students can also take part in the ongoing "Counselor Connect" program, which gives them one-on-one help with planning their college and career paths right in the counseling office.
