Independence High School is still working toward its goal of flexible, student-centered learning by putting in place a new district-wide late work policy that is meant to help students learn and make things fair. Recently, the school held special School Site Council meetings to work with families to update the learning environment and make the campus easier to get to. Also, students are getting more credit recovery options and personalized academic counseling sessions to help them stay on track for graduation and future success.
