Heritage High School was just given the title of California Distinguished School for 2025. This award is given to the school for closing achievement gaps and providing high-quality educational programs. The campus is actively creating more opportunities for students through its four specialized Career Academies: Health, Technology, Arts and Entrepreneurial, and Public Service. These academies provide specific paths to professional readiness. In April 2026, the school will also host its second annual PPO Golf Tournament and the East Contra Costa Job Fair. These events will help students find jobs and other resources in the area.
