Kern Workforce 2000 Academy has added more Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, giving students more chances to enroll at the Regional Occupational Center at the same time and learn hands-on skills in new fields. The academy recently hired a new Parent Outreach Coordinator to help families stay connected with the school and get more support throughout the school year. The program is also working on a new literacy project that will help all students in the 2025–2026 school year get personalized help and improve their basic reading and writing skills.
