East Bakersfield High School is one of the best schools in the Kern High School District. It serves about 2,420 students in grades 9–12 and offers a full public education. The school has about 24 students for every teacher, which helps keep the learning environment structured. The ceremony for East Bakersfield High School's Hall of Fame will take place on March 29, 2026. It will honor the great things that its alumni have done and the legacy they have left behind. This semester, students are doing a lot of different things to improve their skills. For example, they are applying to specialized Health Careers Academy programs and taking part in hands-on workshops in drafting and woodworking. The campus is still a great place to get help with schoolwork.
