Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas, is a city with a lot of history and about 202,000 people live there. There is a big public school district and a lot of elite private and magnet schools in the area. In the city, high school education is a mix of traditional subjects and specialized STEM and fine arts tracks. The schools in the city are very culturally diverse, which gives students a broad view of history and how to get involved in their community. Little Rock is a great place for families because it has a low cost of living and a lot of different ways to get an education. This means that students can take advantage of both city opportunities and specialized academic settings.
