On February 19, 2026, Martin Luther King Jr. Technical High School will hold its Activities Showcase Night. It will give the community a chance to see how its career and technical education (CTE) pathways work. Recently, the school has added more ways for students to learn by doing. For instance, students in the aviation maintenance program learn by taking apart and putting back together airplanes that are already in use. The enrollment lottery for 2026 is also open until March 19. It has a new system that resets waitlists every year to make sure that all students who want to get in have the same chance.
