Benny Benson Alternative High School recently started using a new Activity Interest Survey to find out what students are interested in and add more extracurricular activities that fit those interests. The school has also improved its vocational curriculum. For example, students are working on a multi-step vehicle restoration project that teaches them how to be precise, paint, and solve automotive problems. To help each student succeed even more, the campus is using individualized learning plans and a required Mentorship class that focuses on getting ready for a career and setting goals for the 2025–2026 school year.
