About Continuous Curriculum School

Located in Spokane Valley, Continuation Curriculum School (CCS) offers families an alternative K-8 learning setting within the East Valley School District. CCS operates on a balanced calendar of a balanced year, which promotes learning maintenance with a balanced calendar while decreasing summer decline in learning with shorter, more frequent breaks, a format that has been beneficial to learners for over 25 years. CCS has very involved parents who engage their students, and teachers have long tenures of employment, averaging twenty-one years, which is greater than the district average. In 2023, CCS students surpassed district averages with 59 percent meeting standards in English, 55 percent in math, and 60 percent in science. While the school is academically strong with stability and demand, it is positioned among the best elementary schools in Washington.
