Fairmount Park Elementary

Serving students in grades PK–5, Fairmount Park Elementary School is ranked #25 among elementary schools in the Seattle Public Schools system. This is one of the legitimate elementary schools in Washington, situated at 3800 SW Findlay Street in Seattle. There are 26 full-time teachers, one full-time counselor, and 428 students at the school, with a 16:1 student-teacher ratio. Fairmount Park was first constructed in 1964 and underwent renovations in 2014, adding 12 classrooms and contemporary amenities. In order to build a strong school community, the PTA actively involves families through volunteer projects, enrichment activities, and events.

Sara Davis began to serve as principal of Fairmount Park Elementary at the start of September 2024. This past May, during Teacher Appreciation Week, Mayor Harrell took time out of his schedule to visit Fairmount Park Elementary. The PTA is very active and engaged at Fairmount Park Elementary, planning and helping to organize many events throughout the school year, including Falcon Fest on November 7, 2025, and a Maker Fair, both designed to foster creativity to enhance learning and engagement in the community.
