Sara Davis began to serve as principal of Fairmount Park Elementary at the start of September 2024. This past May, during Teacher Appreciation Week, Mayor Harrell took time out of his schedule to visit Fairmount Park Elementary. The PTA is very active and engaged at Fairmount Park Elementary, planning and helping to organize many events throughout the school year, including Falcon Fest on November 7, 2025, and a Maker Fair, both designed to foster creativity to enhance learning and engagement in the community.
