A major policy change for all schools in Utah including South Jordan School : The state legislature passed, and the governor signed, a law (SB 178) banning cellphone use during classroom hours in public schools. Sponsored by Lincoln Fillmore (representing South Jordan), the bill sets July 1 as the effective date.
