Merrol Hyde Magnet School (MHMS), located at 128 Township Drive in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is a K–12 magnet institution in Sumner County Schools guided by the Paideia (liberal arts) philosophy. Established in 2003, it emphasizes rigorous academic discourse, Socratic seminars, and college preparatory curriculum across all grades. Students experience a unified continuum from early childhood through high school, engaging in advanced coursework, AP classes, and arts, athletics, and leadership opportunities.
MHMS fosters critical thinking, civic responsibility, and intellectual curiosity, while promoting interdisciplinary education and honors-level instruction.
