Being Updated
Mellette Elementary has been in the news this week for fun things happening in the classroom and events that bring the community together that make students and their families feel good. As a reward for doing their schoolwork well and working hard together, Mrs. Lawrence's second-grade class got to have a special craft day. The kids were happy to work together to make gingerbread people. During this fun event, the school's hallways were full of laughter and pride. This showed how much Mellette cares about getting kids involved and rewarding them for good behavior.
