Being Updated
The school recently hosted a "Spirit of the Pack" ceremony to honor classrooms that were responsible, worked together, and were nice to each other. One class even got to have a fun "Stuffed Animal Day" as a reward for showing those values. This made the school more united than ever.
On the other hand, Oscar Howe's community and after-school programs are still going strong. Families, staff, and community partners helped get the word out and raise money for the local "Hungry Hearts" program. This way, every student can have a safe place to go after school and a healthy meal.
