R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy serves elementary and middle school students in Sumter, South Carolina, with an emphasis on college readiness and academic growth. The school has achieved noteworthy progress, such as being removed from the state’s Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) list and earning a “Superior with Distinction” designation for its Middle Academy band in 2024. In addition to STEM programs - STARBASE and Project Lead the Way - there are extracurricular activities such as athletics, AVID, and band programs while students attend classes on Mayesville Avenue in a building with a storied past. R.E. Davis CPA is one of the best elementary schools in South Carolina, with its focus on safety, personalized learning, and community involvement.
