Ulysses S. Grant School No. 7 is down at 155 Summer Street, Passaic, NJ 07055. It's a public elementary school here in Passaic, part of the city school system. They teach kids from pre-K up to either 1st or 2nd grade, it depends on the year. It's known around here as one of the best elementary schools. They have about 250 to 300 kids, and the teacher-to-student ratio is about 11 :1. The school's got a really diverse group of kids, almost all (around 94%) are Hispanic, and most of them can get free or cheap lunches. They're also part of the Title I program, which gives extra help since a lot of the students come from tough backgrounds.
