The Academy for Science and Design Charter (H) is a top-notch public charter school in Nashua, New Hampshire. It is the only high school in its specialized district. It has about 525 students in grades 6 through 12 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 15:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the state because it has a strong STEM curriculum and 55% of its students take Advanced Placement® courses, and it is one of the best high schools in New Hampshire.
There are a lot of different types of people on campus. For example, 44% of the students are minorities, and 2% of them are economically disadvantaged. Academic excellence is a hallmark, with 100% of students being able to read and 85% being able to do math. The school works hard to set up SAT and ACTs to help students get ready for competitive colleges. The Academy for Science and Design Charter (H) is one of the best schools because it focuses so much on engineering, computer science, and design, creating a space where future leaders can be creative.

The Academy for Science and Design (ASD) is now using its "SPARK" program for the spring term of 2026. Students can go to week-long, intensive workshops on certain STEM topics through this program. They will learn how to solve problems in the real world. The school recently had a party to honor the success of its robotics and competitive academic teams, which always do well in engineering competitions in the area. The campus is also improving its college prep resources by giving upper-level science classes new, more advanced lab equipment.
