Timberlawn Elementary School in Jackson, Mississippi, is part of a bigger plan by Jackson Public Schools to improve their schools. The district has started a $250 million construction project to rebuild and modernize schools. The new designs will be able to withstand wear and tear and will help with overcrowding. The goal of this project is to improve the learning environment for students and boost the local economy.
The school is also getting ready for the next school year, which is now open for registration. Jackson Public Schools is also celebrating its teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week to honor their hard work and dedication. The principal and other dedicated staff are working hard to create a welcoming and positive environment where students can do well.
