Hoover Elementary School – Biomedical, Health Sciences & Engineering was named a 2025 Top Magnet School of Excellence in January 2025. Only 94 schools in the country received this honor. The award shows how dedicated the school is to its STEM, health sciences, and engineering-focused curriculum, as well as its efforts to make sure that all students have equal access to it, get their families involved, and do well in school. School leaders stressed that this award is a sign of the hard work of teachers and the involvement of students and their families in making the school a challenging and fun place to learn.
