Being Updated
Everyone at Oakland International Academy Middle School is happy! The soccer team at the middle school had a great start to the season. Everyone was proud of how hard they worked and how well they played together. The school also worked with local leaders to raise awareness for breast cancer research, which shows how much they care about social issues. The school is also getting ready for a new month full of fun ways to learn, grow, and do well.
Q1. What does Oakland International Academy Middle do to get kids interested in school?
Ans. Inquiry-driven lessons, project-based activities, and collaborative exercises help students think critically about what they learn and get better at solving problems.
Q2. What programs help people be creative?
Ans. Students take part in music, visual arts, theater, and writing classes to improve their creativity and ability to express themselves.
Q3. How is the health of students taken care of?
Ans. Students can keep their emotional balance and resilience by going to counseling, practicing mindfulness, and taking part in wellness workshops.
Q4. How do you learn to be a leader?
Ans. Student councils, mentorship programs, and group projects help kids learn how to be responsible, work together, and have confidence.
Q5. How does the school get families and the community involved?
Ans. Volunteer programs, family workshops, and partnerships with the community all help get people involved and improve relationships between schools and communities.
