Back-to-School Support Event: On August 1, 2025, Grand Prairie Elementary celebrated a back-to-school fair at Manhattan Junior High featuring free backpacks and school supplies, generously donated by local businesses to help students start the year prepared. School Supply Donations: Families were recently encouraged to apply via a form to receive school supply backpacks from the Kids In Need Foundation, emphasizing community support and resource access. Recognition & Character-Building: For World Down Syndrome Day, Grand Prairie Elementary raised funds for GiGi’s Playhouse in honor of student Pharron King. The school embraced inclusivity by encouraging mismatched socks, and even the facility dog, Simi, joined the fun!
