There are about 220 students at Terrace Elementary, which usually has students in grades PK–5. There is about one teacher for every eight students. The math proficiency rate ranges from 52% to 52% for reading skills. Terrace students go to nearby high schools like Kalamazoo Central High School (grades 9–12) and Loy Norrix High School (grades 9–12), which have produced athletes, performers, and community leaders.
