Students at Morley Elementary School held their annual Red Wagon Food Drive, filling and pulling about 72 wagons of non-perishable food to give to the West Hartford Food Pantry. This year's drive collected over 3,000 items, which is about 50% more than last year. This shows how much the school cares about helping others and the people in its community.

The 2024 fifth-grade class also painted a mural for the school as their graduation project. Amanda Mendoza, a local artist, painted the mural that shows the school's six character traits: Kindness, Caring, Fairness, Respect, Responsibility, and Citizenship. It also has each student's initials on it, which honors their legacy and dedication to Morley's values.
