Braeburn School is a public K–5 elementary school in West Hartford, Connecticut, that serves about 345 students. The student–teacher ratio is about 12:1. As part of its Vision Zero plan, West Hartford is putting in 12 raised crosswalks around school zones to make it safer for people to walk and slow down traffic near places like Braeburn Elementary.
The district also approved a $214.7 million education budget for the next school year, which shows how committed it is to school programs and infrastructure.
