About High Peaks Elementary School

High Peaks Elementary is located in Boulder, Colorado, and is an excellent public school part of the Boulder Valley School District. Founded in 1995, it uses Core Knowledge Sequence, which gives student rich education that connects the subject areas of literature, history, science, and the arts. High Peaks Elementary is highly recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, having been awarded this title in 2015 and 2021. High Peaks was also awarded the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award, the John Irwin Award, and was in the top 1% of all elementary schools in Colorado. High Peaks Elementary students consistently excel academically with over 85% of students proficient in both Math and Reading. In addition, High Peaks offers a robust offerings of extra programs such as Science Fair, Robotics, Spelling Bee, and Math Olympiad.
