The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) recently gave South Valley High School, home of the Big Picture Ukiah program, a prestigious six-year accreditation. This proves that the school is great at personalized, relationship-based learning. There have been a lot of physical changes to the campus, like a new administration building and updated athletic courts. These changes make the campus feel more modern and welcoming for students. The school also leads in real-world education by working with more than 50 local businesses to offer community-based internships that let students explore their career interests outside of the classroom.
