Being Updated
As the school gets ready for winter break, O.B. Whaley Elementary in San Jose, California, is spreading holiday cheer! The community is wishing everyone a Happy Holidays, and there is no school from December 22 to January 2. The school is also taking part in the Evergreen School District's 33rd Annual Virtual Second Harvest Food Drive, which aims to help families in the area who are in need. This project shows how much the school cares about getting involved in the community and helping those who are less fortunate. O.B. Whaley Elementary is encouraging its students and staff to be kind and generous as the holidays get closer.
Q1. How are lessons in the classroom set up?
Ans. Lessons are meant to be fun and interactive so that students can learn while building strong basic skills.
Q2. How does the school talk to parents?
Ans. Families can stay up to date on their child's education and be involved by going to meetings, getting regular updates, and taking part in school activities.

Ans. A culture that is respectful and welcoming to everyone is encouraged. This helps students feel supported, motivated, and sure of themselves as they learn.
Q4. What programs does the School have to help kids learn?
Ans. The school has many programs, like arts, technology, physical education, and group projects, that help all students become more creative, think critically, and solve problems.
Q5. How does the School get families to take part in school events?
Ans. Families can go to cultural nights, workshops, volunteer events, and parent-teacher conferences. This helps make sure that home and school work together to help the students do well.
