About Sunset Elementary School

Sunset Elementary is a school in the San Francisco Unified School District, teaching kids from kindergarten all the way up to 5th grade. The school has around 470 students, and with about 20 students for every teacher, it helps everyone talk to each other in class. So, looking at the latest numbers from the state, it seems like about 60% of students are good at reading, and just around 55% are doing well in math. Our student body is quite diverse, with pretty much an even split—about half male and half female. The school really focuses on giving kids a safe and organized place to learn.Teachers keep a close eye on how students are doing, and they really push for good grades.

Parents have told us that our staff communicates clearly, and they feel good about the school's supportive vibe. Homes in the surrounding area typically range from $1.2 million to $2 million, which means a lot of families can stay for a longer period of time. Sunset Elementary is still a really solid pick for elementary school around here, thanks to good grades and folks who genuinely connect with each other. This school is the best school in San Francisco.
