Crocker/Riverside Elementary is a public school in Sacramento, California. It is part of the Sacramento City Unified School District. It teaches kids from kindergarten to sixth grade. The school has between 380 and 410 students, and there is one teacher for every 23 students. This is about the same as the district and state averages. Crocker/Riverside Elementary teaches early literacy, STEAM education, and social-emotional learning in addition to the basics like English language arts, math, science, and social studies. There are a lot of different kinds of students, and about 70–75% of them are from minority groups, like Hispanic, Black, Asian, and mixed-race backgrounds. About 81% of students are good at math, and 79% are good at reading and writing in English. This shows that the school is still focusing on academic support programs. The money they get per student is about the same as what most public schools get. It helps pay for services and materials for students to learn. Crocker/Riverside Elementary is in a neighborhood where the average home price is what you would expect in a city. This makes the school a good choice for families. People know the school is friendly, focuses on basic learning, and gives students chances to grow.
