The NOAA Ocean Guardian School program has been going on for three years at Fred T. Korematsu Discovery Academy Elementary. As part of the project, students dealt with microplastic pollution from a nearby illegal dumping site by making and 3D printing their screens. The work shows that students are still involved in taking care of the environment and solving problems through the program.
