Being Updated
The new way of teaching at the San Pascual Elementary STEAM Magnet in Los Angeles, California, is making waves! People have praised the school for using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in real-world projects to help students become creative designers and leaders.
Students are coming up with ways to fix problems around the world, like not having enough water and being addicted to technology. For instance, they are starting businesses that make water and wristbands that keep track of workouts. The school focuses on community, leadership, empathy, academic honesty, and reflection, which makes it a good place for kids to do well. The principal and other dedicated staff are working hard to make the school a safe place for kids to learn and grow and they use to show what students learned at events like the STEAM Symposium on regular basis.
